Description of Revere Ware Pan/skillet 1-screw Handle Replacement Hardware Set
These are replacement screws, nuts, and washers for newer era (single screw type) Revere Ware pan handles. These parts are newly manufactured and are made to look and work just like original Revere Ware hardware, with the exceptions noted below.Material: Stainless steel
Includes: One screw, one barrel nut, one lock washer.
Measurements: Screws are .26 inches (7 mm) long including head. Barrel nuts are .3 inches (8 mm) long including head.
Fits: Newer era small pan handles. These fit post-1968 era Revere Ware pans with handles that have one screw through the metal part sticking out of the pan metal part of the handle. See included picture for an example of the type of handle these fit.
These screws will only work with the single screw newer style handle. These screws and nuts will not fit in the older two-screw handles.
Replaces: The original Revere part number for this screw set was 36080.
Hardware Notes
The screws in the hardware set are Phillips head, not slotted like original Revere Ware screw sets were. Because the original slot head screws strip very easily, we consider this an improvement.
These are intended for use with new replacement handles or to fix pans whose handles have a loose rivet or a damaged hardware set.
Installation Notes
The single-screw handles these are intended for most often are secured to the pot with a rivet. Some effort is required to remove the rivet to replace it with this hardware. The easiest way to remove the old rivets is to drill them out with a 5/32 drill bit.
