These knives are a great way to start a knife set without shelling out a lot of dough. I have another set of Revere knives I bought more than 10 years ago that, apart from an occasional sharpening, are as terrific as the day I bought them. I expect to get the same great lifespan out of these! They aren't the absolute best knives in the world, but they are very good considering the price and the fact that you can use them day in and day out. Very versatile!
